Injection Mold Inc. is looking for a mold process tech assistant to join our team and assist with mold setup for prototyping. You will be responsible for setting up molds to be sampled by our lead process tech and helping with the injection molding process.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the lead mold process tech with setting up and operating electric injection mold presses according to specifications and instructions
• Prepare and load materials, tools, and equipment for the molding process
• Perform basic mold changes, adjustments, and maintenance as needed
• Check and measure the quality and accuracy of the molded parts
• Follow safety and quality standards and procedures
• Work closely with the lead process tech and other team members to meet production goals and deadlines

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Some experience with electric injection mold presses
• Basic knowledge of mold design, materials, and processes
• Ability to read and follow blueprints, diagrams, and instructions
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
• Willingness to learn and improve skills
• Forklift operation experience is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Shift: First shift to start then moving to second shift

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
