Key Responsibilities

• Analyze architectural and structural drawings to prepare accurate cost estimates
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to define scope and pricing
• Source material and labor costs, factoring in timelines and logistics
• Prepare bid proposals and track project budgets
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, steel pricing, and construction methods
• Support pre-construction planning and value engineering efforts

Requirements

• Proven experience estimating structural steel projects
• Strong understanding of construction drawings and specifications
• Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines
