Summary The Senior Recruiting Specialist will spearhead the development and execution of recruitment strategies that attract highly qualified candidates for a variety of roles – including technical, engineering, operations, transportation, maintenance, and safety compliance positions – across our pipeline operations. Reporting to senior leadership, this role requires a strategic thinker who can partner with internal teams to build and nurture a robust talent pipeline that supports our business goals. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Strategy & Execution – Develop, implement, and continuously refine comprehensive recruitment strategies tailored to the technical and operational needs of a large pipeline company; plan and execute targeted sourcing campaigns using cutting‑edge techniques. End‑to‑End Recruitment Management – Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from requisition intake, crafting job descriptions, sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, offer negotiations, and onboarding; collaborate with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to identify skill gaps and workforce needs, ensuring alignment with company objectives. Candidate Pipeline & Relationship Building – Maintain and optimize candidate databases and pipelines using modern Applicant Tracking Systems (Taleo); engage with industry associations, academic institutions, and professional networks to establish lasting talent relationships that drive diversity and inclusion. Compliance & Process Improvement – Ensure recruitment practices comply with company policies, industry‑specific regulations, and labor laws as they pertain to safety and operational standards; analyze recruitment data and metrics to proactively drive process improvements and enhance the candidate experience from application to onboarding. Brand Ambassador – Act as the employer brand champion by clearly communicating the company’s vision, culture, and values to attract top‑tier candidates; represent the company at recruiting events, networking functions, and industry forums to elevate our market presence. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, with a demonstrated track record in recruiting for technical or industrial roles. Ability to work 100% on‑site at our downtown office building. Deep understanding of recruitment best practices, sourcing strategies, and labor market trends specific to the pipeline or similar technical industries. Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HRIS platforms; familiarity with data analytics tools for measuring recruiting effectiveness is a plus. Knowledge of safety, regulatory, or compliance standards relevant to pipeline operations is highly desirable. Experience with MS Office and SharePoint products. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a knack for relationship building and collaborative problem‑solving. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. Proactive, strategic thinker with a passion for creative sourcing, process improvement, and continuous learning. Required experience is commensurate with the selected job level – The Senior Specialist/Analyst level requires a Bachelor's degree and 5–8 years of relevant job related experience. Working Conditions Usually, normal office working conditions. Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing. Occasional overnight travel may be required.
