About the role As an SOC Analyst Co-op, you will assist in monitoring and analyzing security alerts and incidents using Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR), and Extended Detection and Response (XDR) tools. We will count on you to support the SOC team in investigating and responding to security events, including triage, escalation, and remediation activities. Learn to identify and analyze indicators of compromise (IOCs) and potential security threats to enhance threat detection capabilities. Collaborate with experienced SOC analysts to participate in incident response activities and coordinate with cross‑functional teams for effective resolution. Gain exposure to threat hunting techniques and proactive security measures to identify and mitigate emerging cyber threats. Assist in maintaining and updating security documentation, procedures, and playbooks to support SOC operational efficiency. What we’re looking for Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, or related field. Junior or Senior standing with a strong academic record in cybersecurity coursework. Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles, technologies, and tools, with a willingness to learn and develop practical skills in a SOC environment.
