At Tutor Me Education, we are revolutionizing the way students learn, and we're seeking passionate teachers and tutors with special education experience to provide 1:1 in-home tutoring in Saratoga, CA ! About the Role: As an Tutor at Tutor Me Education, you’ll provide personalized, one-on-one tutoring to students with special needs in their homes. You will be responsible for helping students with daily activities, offering moral support, and delivering tailored instruction based on their Individualized Education Plan (IEP).

We are currently hiring for multiple positions across all cities in Saratoga, CA

Details:

• In-Person Tutoring in Saratoga, CA
• Schedule: 2 session a week for 2hr sessions
• Pay rate is between $25 and $35

Ideal Candidate:

• Experience working with students with Autism, ADHD, or other learning differences
• Background in special education, early childhood education, or ABA-informed instruction
• Ability to integrate SEL into academic instruction
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with families
• Patience, flexibility, and a strengths-based approach
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates encouraged to apply (preferred, not required)

• Academic Support:
• Foundational math concepts and math word problems
• Reading fluency and comprehension
• Writing development: language, conventions, organization, and traits
• Support with language and communication skills
• Integration of Social/Emotional Learning (SEL) in daily instruction
• Behavioral & Engagement Strategies:
• Use of strategies aligned with ABA therapy to help sustain attention
• Incorporation of noise-canceling headphones and other tools to minimize distractions
• Support in building response time and confidence, allowing for patient processing
• Flexible pacing to match student’s rhythm of learning
• Instructional Approach:
• Sessions may be held outside the home (e.g., at a public library) to reduce distractions
• Creative use of student interests (e.g., flags, air dancers, fans) to boost engagement
• Light, fun, and motivating interactions tailored to student temperament
• Ability to adjust style — whether bubbly and energetic or calm and steady — based on the student’s needs
