Assembly Technician Mid Level

Pratt Miller is a product development company in motorsports, defense, and mobility industries providing clients with product engineering and low-volume production solutions.

Job Summary: This role requires independent assembly, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills, with mentoring responsibilities for Level 1 technicians.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Assemble complex prototype components and subassemblies with minimum supervision.
• Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues, identifying root causes.
• Perform advanced quality checks and tests on assembled prototypes.
• Collaborate and provide feedback to engineering teams.
• Assist with training Level 1 technicians.
• Work independently while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Minimum Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in manual assembly.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Advanced ability to read and interpret assembly drawings.
• Advanced problem?solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency in using a variety of tools and equipment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
