About the Role: Join a major infrastructure/utilities project supporting a major utility in the Rocklin, CA area. As a Project Controls Analyst, you'll be the linchpin for project cost management, scheduling, compliance documentation, and performance reporting. You’ll collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, finance, and utility clients to help deliver critical infrastructure efficiently and safely. Key Responsibilities: Develop, update, and maintain project schedules (Primavera P6 or MS Project preferred) Build and track project budgets, financial forecasts, and cost reports Analyze variances and provide recommendations for corrective action Generate monthly/weekly project status reports and dashboards to project team and leadership Track Document Control: Maintain and organize project documentation, change orders, submittals, and approvals Support business process improvement and risk mitigation strategies Communicate clearly with cross-functional teams including project management, construction, design, and finance Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field (preferred) 2+ years’ experience in project controls, cost engineering, project scheduling, or financial analysis (utilities, energy, construction, or major infrastructure preferred) Proficient in schedule and cost management software (Primavera P6 and/or MS Project, advanced Excel) Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills Must be US Citizen or Permanent Resident Must be able to work onsite at Rocklin, CA office 1 day per week; otherwise remote/hybrid Previous experience supporting projects for utilities, public works, or regulated industries a plus What We Offer: Hybrid work schedule (onsite & remote flexibility) Opportunity for long-term, temp-to-hire employment with a leading utility Competitive hourly rate and potential overtime Collaborative and mission-driven project environment Exposure to major, high-impact infrastructure work How to Apply: Submit your resume through Monster or send directly to my email.
