Overview LaSalle Network is hiring a Food Safety & Compliance Specialist for a globally recognized consumer packaged goods company headquartered in Chicago. This is a contract opportunity to join a world-class team committed to delivering safe, high-quality products to consumers worldwide. Base pay $40.00/hr - $45.00/hr Responsibilities Collaborate with the Food Safety team to create and roll out global programs for packaging and ingredient safety Track and report on key food safety performance indicators (KPIs) Review global food safety regulations and communicate updates to internal teams to ensure ongoing compliance Conduct risk assessments for new ingredients, packaging, and product innovations Qualifications Minimum 7 years of management experience in food safety, quality, or regulatory compliance within the food manufacturing industry Bachelor’s degree in food science, biology, or microbiology required Experience working within SAP systems is required This is a contract opportunity with a salary range between $40-$45/hr based on level of experience. The role is hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) with periodic plant visits throughout the Chicagoland area.
