Overview We’re looking for a creative and outgoing Artist Assistant to join our team! This role is perfect for someone who loves art, people, and community — and wants to be part of a growing woman‑owned Bay Area paint‑and‑sip business. As an Artist Assistant, you’ll work directly with our lead instructors at local paint‑and‑sip events across the Bay Area. You’ll help ensure every class runs smoothly, guests have a great time, and our events look amazing both in person and online. You’ll also represent our brand in the community by distributing flyers to partnering venues, local businesses, and public bulletin boards to help market upcoming classes. Key Responsibilities Assist with event setup and cleanup (tables, easels, supplies, aprons, etc.) Greet and engage with guests to create a welcoming, fun environment Take high‑quality photos and videos during classes for social media and marketing Deliver and post flyers around the Bay Area (venues, coffee shops, hotels, and community boards) Help with paint refills, material prep, and guest support during class Represent our brand professionally when interacting with customers and venues Occasionally assist with selling tickets, merchandise, or add‑ons at events Qualifications Passion for art, events, and community engagement Friendly, reliable, and comfortable talking with guests Strong communication and sales skills (comfortable promoting classes and private events) Basic photography and videography experience (or a strong interest in learning) Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Availability on evenings and weekends Bonus Skills Experience in customer service, event coordination, or hospitality Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook) Free admission to classes when assisting Great opportunity to build creative and marketing experience Be part of a supportive, artistic team bringing joy to the community Additional Information Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Painting & Vino SF by 2x.
