We are a locally owned & family run jewelry store that's NOT AFFILIATED with STERLING KAY, JARED, or SIGNET jewelers. You'll be joining a professional staff that delivers outstanding customer service and pays attention to detail. We have earned very good reputation in delivering client satisfaction. You'll be a big contributor by delivering exceptional repair, remodeling & setting services along with restoration work. Your passion for the work you do will be your guide. Were looking for the following skills, experience with laser welding along with torch skills. You will need experience setting fine diamonds and gemstones using a variety of techniques. Finish work along with knowledge of plating will be required. Experience in working with platinum, gold, and silver jewelry will be required. You'll need to have good communication skills when providing estimates to both clients and our staff. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating or restoring beautiful pieces and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform jewelry repairs, including sizing, soldering, remodeling, rebuilding, and stone setting.
• Create custom-designed jewelry pieces according to customer specifications.
• Use various tools and techniques to craft, clean, and polish jewelry.
• Collaborate with designers and other team members to develop new designs and improve production processes.
• Evaluate and inspect jewelry for quality and accuracy, ensuring all pieces meet company standards.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and tools to maintain optimal performance and safety.
• Communicate with customers regarding the status of their repairs or custom orders, addressing any concerns or questions promptly.
• Continuously improve technical skills and stay current with industry trends and best practices.
• You will be responsible for running a clean shop and all maintenance of the shop equipment.
• You be placing orders for findings and other shop supplies
• You will need some computer experience and be trained on our software
• You will be responsible for the daily gathering of all precious metal filings & sweeps

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a formal jewelry training program or apprenticeship is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Bench Jeweler and diamond setter
• Proficient in using various jewelry tools, including torches, flex shafts, and laser welders & more
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment with interruptions and meeting tight deadlines.
