• Assist Plant Manager in managing plant operations to guarantee food safety and quality.
\n
• Verify proper training for all key operations employees.
\n
• Participate in preparation of audits to include annual third party, USDA, and customers.
\n
• Assist in answering, correcting, and preventing customer product complaints when needed.
\n
• Support Quality Assurance, Food Safety, and Quality Systems.
\n
• Comply with all company and safety policies, practices, and procedures.
\n
• All other relevant tasks as they apply to the job. indhp

• Bachelor Degree in Poultry Science, Business Management, Animal Science, or other closely related field of study (relevant experience may be considered as a substitute for education)
\n
• Experience in process improvement initiatives
\n
• Excellent organizational skills
  
\n
• USDA regulatory knowledge and experience
  
\n
• Advanced HACCP training and experience
  
\n
• Proven management skills in production operations within the food industry
  
\n
• Excellent communication, training, and leadership skills
