Mayo Garden Centers is a locally owned garden center that specializes in all garden items, power equipment, and patio furniture. Mayo Garden Centers is looking for a full-time warehouse assistant supervisor. Applicant must have an F endorsement on their valid driver’s license and be able to drive a truck with a trailer. Applicant must be computer literate and willing to learn our inventory program. The majority of our merchandise comes into the Bearden location and then we send it to the other 2 locations. In addition we deliver merchandise to customer homes. Applicant will be required to maintain accurate inventory records. Additionally, applicant must be organized and help maintain a clean organized warehouse.

Applicant having an F endorsement on their valid driver’s license and able to drive a truck with a trailer a plus. Occasionally applicant will need to drive our truck to move merchandise between the stores or for delivery to a customer. This will be rare but we all fill in when the drivers are on vacation. 

Job Requirements:

- Computer literate and willing to learn Mayo’s inventory software

- Have an F endorsement on valid driver’s license and drive a truck with a trailer

- Must be able to lift and carry 50lbs

- Must be able to assemble furniture, grills and other inventory items

- Must be friendly and courteous to the customers

- High school diploma or more is required

Salary is dependent upon experience.

• Very few Sundays are required (Mayo's is closed on Sundays except for April, May and December) and no evenings.
• Applicants will have a set schedule from week to week with their day off being the same each week.
