Job Description

We are seeking an experienced VP of Engineering with a manufacturing company in Raleigh, NC. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering management, project execution, and a proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale CAPEX projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a high-performing engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of CAPEX projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, finance, and supply chain, to align engineering initiatives with business objectives.
• Develop and implement engineering strategies that drive operational efficiency, cost reduction, and process optimization.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.
• Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering; Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive engineering experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role with project experience.
• Experience with AutoCAD, SAP, and MS Suite.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
