Job Description:

We are seeking 3 Mid-Level UI/UX Designers for a major client in the Banking/Financial industry to join our internal digital platforms team.
This hybrid role (based in San Francisco, CA) requires a strong balance of front-end development and user experience design - approximately 30% Angular coding and 70% UX design.
You will collaborate with engineers, product teams, and business stakeholders to deliver intuitive, engaging, and functional digital experiences for internal users.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Design and implement user interfaces that align with business and user needs
Write clean, modular, and maintainable Angular code for UI components (30% of role)
Conduct user research and translate insights into design improvements
Create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to communicate design ideas
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver end-to-end solutions
Conduct usability testing and iterate designs based on feedback
Ensure adherence to accessibility and usability standards across products
Maintain and contribute to a shared design system and component library
Stay current with UX best practices, emerging design trends, and front-end frameworks

Must Have:

Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, Computer Science, or related field
3-5 years of experience in UI/UX design and front-end development
Proficiency in Figma, Adobe XD, or similar design tools
Strong coding skills in Angular, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and usability
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Experience working in Agile teams

Nice to Have:

Experience with design system implementation and maintenance
Familiarity with prototyping tools such as InVision or Proto.io
Knowledge of accessibility compliance (WCAG, ADA)
Experience with Design Thinking and rapid prototyping
