Job Description & RequirementsRN Position Job Notes:
\n\nTravel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.
\n\nOpportunity:

\n\nJob Details:
\n• Day shift from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM
\n• One call night per week and 2 weekends of call per month required
\n• Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license required
\n• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from AHA required
\n• Coordinate and implement patient care specific to assigned patient population
\n• Obtain and record initial assessments and establish care priorities
\n• Re-assess patients systematically to identify progress and intervention needs
\n• Develop and implement individualized patient care plans within nursing standards
\n• Make comprehensive nursing decisions based on patient evaluations
\n• Participate in patient education and discharge planning
\n• Perform Point of Care testing procedures
\n• Delegate unit work assignments and coordinate team activities
\n• Function as resource to visitors, physicians, and staff
\n• Work in clean, well-lit, smoke-free environment with exposure to bloodborne pathogens
\n• Must handle emergency situations and perform heavy physical tasks including patient positioning and transfer
\n• Requires extensive standing, walking, reaching, stooping, bending, and manual dexterity
