Job Description & Requirements\nEffective 11/30/24, IU Health will not allow IN RN’s to work at their facilities (SEE EXCEPTIONS BELOW). The last day for IN RNs to start a NEW contract is 9/9 (allows them to finish a contract by 11/30).\n**Periop/OR RN’s, Allied and Ambulatory RN travelers are exempt from this rule. These IN travelers are allowed to work past the 11/30 deadline. Periop includes ENDO, IR RN, PACU, Cath Lab RN, SDS**\n\nMS Tele Oncology:\n3x12\n** MIXED ACUITY UNIT: ALL TRAVELERS WILL BE REQUIRED TO WORK WITH MEDSURG PATIENTS**\nRatios:1:5-6; PCU 1:3-4\nYears of experience REQ: 18 months\nWeekend REQ: Every other\nCerts REQ: ACLS, BLS required; NIH preferred\nIs on-call REQ? No\nWill the clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Yes\nOpen to accommodating block schedule? To be discussed\nPending License accepted: No. IN-STATE LICENSE / REQUIRED CERTS MUST BE IN HAND TO SUB\nRTO Restrictions: Must work 2/3 major holidays.\nGuaranteed Hours: 8 and 10 hr. shifts - 40 hrs. in one workweek.\n3, 12 hr. shifts - 36 hrs. in one workweek. 4, 12 hr. shifts - 48 hrs. in one workweek.\nSpecial Requirements: PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown ; interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, accessing ports, starting IVs.
