🚨 Day-Shift RN – Emergency Department (ED) (13-Week Travel Contract)

📍 Location: 812 Gorman Ave & Reed St, Elkins, WV 26241
🕒 Shift: Day — 3 × 12-hour shifts (11:00–23:00), includes weekdays, some weekends & holidays
📅 Duration: 13 Weeks (ASAP start)

🎯 Candidate Requirements — Who Fits Best

• RN with ≥ 2 years of dedicated ER experience .
• Licensure: Must be from a Compact State — or at least have a pending license if applying now.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS — up-to-date and ready to go.
• Charting Experience: Comfortable using AllScripts or McKesson EMR systems.
• Travel experience required — so candidates should be prepared for travel-nurse dynamics.
• Dress Code: Navy-blue scrubs

🩺 What You’ll Do — Core Responsibilities

• Provide emergency triage and care for diverse patient presentations: medical, trauma, acute illness, etc.
• Work efficiently under pressure — assess, stabilize, and coordinate care in a fast-moving ED environment.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, techs, and other ED staff — strong teamwork and quick communication required.
• Document using AllScripts or McKesson promptly and accurately.
• Adapt to variable patient flow: busy shifts, unpredictable cases, and occasional peak-load demand.
