Position Overview:

StrideMD is seeking a dedicated, Florida-based Telemedicine Physician licensed in the state to join our team. In this fully remote role, you will provide support for patients managing diabetes, including conducting telemedicine consultations, guiding diabetes management, and enrolling patients in our Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) program. The role requires a commitment of 40 hours per week, handling approximately 25 patient consultations daily. Ideal candidates will hold multiple state licenses or be willing to obtain additional licensure as needed to expand patient outreach.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct telemedicine consultations with diabetes patients, offering tailored care and guidance.
• Perform initial patient consultations and enroll eligible patients in the RPM program.
• Prescribe and manage Continuous Glucose Monitors (CGMs) for qualified patients.
• Adjust treatment plans for patients with uncontrolled glucose levels.
• Collaborate with patients to improve diabetes management while maintaining continuity with their Primary Care Physicians and Endocrinologists.
• Partner with Diabetic Coaches, Monitoring Specialists, Dietitians, and Diabetic Educators who assist with daily monitoring.

Qualifications:

• Active Florida medical license and residency in Florida ; multi-state licensure is preferred, with willingness to obtain additional state licenses.
• Background in diabetes care, including experience with CGMs and RPM, is preferred (Endocrinologist not required).
• Excellent communication skills and a commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.
• Comfortable working in a remote environment, with flexibility for occasional evening or weekend hours.

Physical Demands:

• Prolonged sitting during virtual consultations and patient documentation.
• Frequent use of a computer, keyboard, and other office equipment.
• Good vision for reviewing patient records and video consultations.
• Effective verbal communication for patient interactions and team discussions.

Work Environment:

This position is fully remote, requiring a quiet, private workspace to conduct patient consultations without interruptions.
