This is an exciting contract opportunity for a skilled Software Technical Writer to join a fast-paced technology organization that builds innovative software solutions for enterprise and developer audiences. Contract Duration: 6 - 12 months

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Technical Writer in a software or technology-focused environment
• Strong understanding of software development concepts, SDLC, APIs, and databases
• Demonstrated experience writing developer-focused documentation such as SDKs, APIs, and integration guides
• Proficiency with documentation tools such as MadCap Flare, RoboHelp, Confluence, Markdown, DITA, MS Office, or Git-based systems
• Basic familiarity with programming languages to interpret and document code samples accurately
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience with single-sourcing, structured authoring, or content reuse strategies
• Ability to quickly learn and document new technologies in both on-prem and cloud-based environments
• Experience using graphic or diagramming tools to create visuals that enhance comprehension
• Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering, QA, and product teams across multiple time zones
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a focus on accuracy and clarity
