Systems Administrator I (LMS)

The Systems Administrator will oversee core functions of the learning management system – assisting users with usernames, log-in information, assisting with onboarding and offboarding LMS system, uploading e-learning modules, overseeing the program, and working with internal and external customers to ensure systems running smoothly.

LOCATION: Richardson, TX 75080

POSITION: Right to Hire

SCHEDULE: 8:00am to 5:00pm (Monday – Thursday w/Fridays remote)

PAY RANGE: $30.00 hour

Working with LMS platform – cornerstone – working with Cornerstone rep to ensure the application is running smoothly, escalating any issues to cornerstone.

Under direct supervision, maintains integrity of the operating system environment.

Performs system software upgrades including planning and scheduling, testing, and coordination.

Performs workstation and server administration setup.

Coordinates disk space planning and management.

Maintains growth statistics, space forecasts, tape libraries, and software and hardware inventories.

Performs data backups and recoveries.

Monitors and maintains continuity with system software licensing and maintenance agreements.

May provide recommendations regarding hardware and system software planning and budgeting.

Maintains production change control schedule and participates in change control.

REQUIREMENTS:

Requires HS Diploma or GED.

Familiar with LMS, cornerstone experience preferred.

Knowledge of operating systems and applications, as well as hardware and software troubleshooting.

Understands the purposes for which people in the organization use systems.

Must be able to solve problems quickly under high pressure.

Must have a strong grasp of computer security.

Communication skills are a requirement.
