, is seeking a System Administrator with a Secret clearance to support
EHS and our government customer.

The System Administrator will support AWS cloud-based migration and/or operations maintaining the client's enterprise reporting application.
The ideal candidate is dedicated to strengthening and maintaining his/her skillset to match the need of the work environment. There is a potential for occasional face-to-face SAFe ceremonies on occasion. The client is located in Clarksburg, WV which Travel would be covered by the Client.
Responsibilities: - Responsible for the upkeep, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems
- Ensure the uptime, performance, resources, and security of the computers they manage meet the needs of the users
- The systems administrator could be focused in one or more of the following areas:
- A database administrator (DBA) maintains a database system and is responsible for the integrity of the data and the efficiency and performance of the system.
- A network administrator maintains network infrastructure such as switches and routers, and diagnoses problems with these or with the behavior of network-attached computers.
- A security administrator is a specialist in computer and network security, including the administration of security devices such as firewalls, as well as consulting on general security measures.
- A web administrator maintains web server services that allow for internal or external access to web sites. Tasks include managing multiple sites, administering security, and configuring necessary components and software. Responsibilities may also include software change management.
- A system programmer creates, modifies, and test the code, forms, and script that allow computer applications to run. They may also develop and write computer programs to store, locate, and retrieve specific documents, data, and information.
- A computer operator performs routine maintenance and upkeep, such as changing backup tapes or replacing failed drives.
Requirements: - Secret clearance required.
- Must have 1-year relevant experience w/ High School Degree or higher
- Knowledge of one or more of these technologies is preferred: AWS, Linux, or Ansible
Security Requirements: - Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
- Secret clearance is required.
Working Environment & Conditions This job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand, walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress.
The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
