Salary range - $62,100 - $69,000 Responsibilities How will you make an impact?
Responsibilities
- Responsible for directing and coordinating day-to-day activities for employee equipment rooms and supplies
- Manage and disciple based on standard procedures for employees overseeing on daily shift
- Provide leadership and motivation to their team
- Responsible for establishing and maintaining high standards of safety, security and customer service in accordance with Company policies and procedures
- Analyzes records and reports and is responsible for meeting performance targets which may include departure dependability, baggage handling, security procedures, and customer service/ employee engagement
- Confers with lead agents and other staff on needed items
- Evaluates current procedures for accomplishing department objectives in order to develop and implement improved procedures
- Ensures overall departmental compliance as well as compliance of personnel with administrative policies, procedures, safety rules and any Company or government regulations
- Maintains the departmental budget, participates on operational conference calls, station audits and prepares various reports
- Strong organizational and decision-making skills are necessary
- Ability to think strategically and adapt to the changing needs of the business is critical
- Must be able to work in a team environment and the ability to prioritize work and projects in order to meet deadlines and objectives
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision, report to work regularly and on-time, and be self-motivated
Qualifications Who are we looking for?
Requirements:
- Minimum age of 18
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- College coursework or college degree preferred
- Valid state driver's license
- Previous work experience in an airline or airport capacity such as sales and operational phases of an airline, ground handling or airport management
- Proven leadership and analytical skills
- Previous working experience in a team lead, supervisory or managerial role
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Possess the legal right to work in the United States
- Must be able to read, write, fluently speak and understand the English language
- Proven work experience building constructive and effective relationships with internal and external customers preferred
- Willing and able to work rotating shifts including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and days off as needed Flexible to work additional hours with short notice when operationally necessary
