Club SciKidz MD offers science and technology summer camps for children ages 4-15 years in Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Howard, and Montgomery counties. We are hiring a Lead Counselor to teach a camp at our location in Potomac. This position is only for two weeks, the weeks of July 22 and July 29. We are looking for someone with experience teaching and leading a group of children. This position is perfect for junior and graduating senior education majors and other adults who have experience in the classroom. This position is not for high school students and those who have not taught a class of children. You will be responsible for teaching a camp of up to 20 campers with an assistant. All lessons and materials are provided.
Our day camps run Monday-Friday, and staff are scheduled by the week. Staff hours are approximately 8:15am-4:00pm. Pay is between $520-$575 per week. Exact salary is dependent on your experience working with children, your year in college, and if you have any special experience in science and/or technology.
