United Health Services is seeking a Staff Nurse - Surgical Step Down - Upto 25K Sign-on bonus!! (12 Hours, Multiple Hours and Shifts Available) to join our department at in , NY. This position is benefits eligible.

Hours Per Week 40
Salary Range $37.45 - $59.38 per hour, depending on experience.
Overview 12 Hour shifts (2 or 3 times a week) available! Days and Nights!!

United Health Services, the largest and most comprehensive provider of healthcare services in upstate New York's Southern Tier, is hiring a Staff Registered Nurse, Surgical Step Down to join our team at UHS Wilson Medical Center in Johnson City, NY. The Surgical Step Down unit is a small, collaborative environment monitoring patients coming out of the operating room. Each nurse cares for 3 patient at max. This unit works with a handful of Physicians at once.
Qualifications - A valid RN license
- ACLS certification
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Previous ventilator or drip experience
Essential Duties & Responsibilities - Monitoring patients post operation – including ventilators and drips
- Monitor critical care patients
- Keeping a close eye on vital signs and rapidly responding when needed
- Administering medications as provided by Physician
- Keeping accurate documentation
