SLPA Responsibilities:

\n\n

\n\t
• Assist in conducting speech and language screenings, assessments, and evaluations under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).\n\t
• Implement specialized therapy plans through individual and group sessions in alignment with students’ Individual Education Plans (IEP) goals.\n\t
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and parents to integrate therapy into daily activities and provide strategies to support students' communication needs.\n\t
• Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings and support the development of IEPs.\n\t
• Maintain accurate documentation as per federal and state laws, State Board of Education rules, and school policies.\n

Qualifications:

\n\n

\n\t
• Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences from an accredited educational institution.\n\t
• Valid SLPA state license or eligibility for licensure.\n\t
• Child Abuse, Federal, and State Clearances.\n

\n\n
