Complete Description:

The Client seeks a resource experienced in regression testing with strong OUTA (Oracle Utilities Testing Accelerator) expertise and Oracle CCS system knowledge. The resource will lead regression testing activities including creation and execution of regression test scripts. They will work closely with a business SME to define business process scenarios used for test development and execution.

Job Duties:

• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Oracle Utilities Testing Accelerator (OUTA) for functional, regression, and end-to-end testing.
• Utilize strong experience in OUTA, Groovy, Java, and XML to support automation development.
• Apply hands-on knowledge of Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF).
• Use Azure DevOps, CCS Database Actions, and SQL for test execution, tracking, and validation.
• Work with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and Oracle CCS for integrated testing scenarios.
• Design reusable test assets and templates within the OUTA framework, including XML configuration files, data setup scripts, and test component definitions.
• Implement and customize Groovy scripts within OUTA to manage dynamic data, validations, and conditional business logic.
• Integrate OUTA automation with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps) for automated regression cycles and continuous delivery.
• Conduct data-driven testing by parameterizing input datasets to simulate real-world utility operations such as billing, payments, meter reads, adjustments, and collections.
• Develop validation logic for UI screens, REST/SOAP web services, and integration endpoints within OIC.
• Generate and analyze OUTA logs and execution reports, identify failures, and perform root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with QA leads, functional testers, and developers to align automation scope with release timelines.
• Maintain test repositories and enforce version control procedures for OUTA automation assets.
• Provide knowledge transfer, training, and mentoring to internal QA teams on OUTA usage and best practices.
• Support Oracle CCS patching and upgrade testing using automated regression suites to ensure system stability.

Preferred Technical Skills:

• Strong experience with OUTA, Groovy, Java, and XML.
• Hands-on knowledge of Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF).
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps, CCS Database Actions, and SQL.
• Hands-on knowledge of Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
• Hands-on experience with Oracle CCS.
