Description Envestnet is seeking a Software Engineering Intern to join our Technology team. This position is expected to report to our Berwyn, PA office location. Job Summary: In this role, you will assist in the development, validation, and maintenance of cloud-based software platforms and applications. You will collaborate with experienced engineers to gain hands-on experience in software analyses, design, development, debugging, and problem-solving. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to enhance your software design and development skills and contribute to meaningful projects while working in a supportive and innovative environment. Job Responsibilities: Participate in Design, development and validation of trading microservices and software components. Typical programming languages and tools used are:

Spring Boot Kafka Various Cloud technologies, including Redis cache Work on various proof of concepts to enable new functionality for trade processing Participate in daily scrum meeting and associated scrum ceremonies. Unit testing of developed code for both Java microservices codebase Automate and build modules for common functionality Adherence to and application of Envestnet legal, compliance, risk, business continuity and administrative policy within the role and department(s) including the timely completion of training & awareness, affirmations and testing as requested. As part of the responsibilities for this role, you will understand and readily support Envestnet's established corporate business practices, policies, internal controls and procedures designed to create value or minimize risk. Required Qualifications: Enrolled in an accredited College/University Experience with: Java, Spring Boot, Spring Data, Hibernate, Spring Security, JUnit/TestNG, Mock frameworks Kafka Multi-threaded, high-scale parallel processing PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, MongoDB, Neo4J, SQL Server, Redis AWS EC2, S3, ELB, ASG, Kinesis, API Gateway, Lambda, Step Functions, Batch Understanding of objected oriented languages like Java, Python Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, team-oriented environment Envestnet's Summer Internship Program: Envestnet's Summer Internship Program provides a paid, 10-week, full-time experience for qualified students to learn more about Envestnet and what we do. Interns will receive hands on exposure to the inner workings of their teams and functions. The 2025 Summer Internship program will begin on June 9th, 2025, and will conclude on August 15th, 2025. All interns must be a commutable distance to an office location and will be expected to work in office.
