Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Sign Installer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience with installing both indoor and outdoor signage and a strong attention to detail. CDL drivers are encouraged to apply, as we offer competitive pay for those with a Commercial Driver's License. This role involves working with a variety of materials, tools, and equipment to install signs for our diverse clientele.
Responsibilities:
Install a wide range of signs, including but not limited to, banners, billboards, illuminated signs, and more.
Ensure proper alignment, placement, and secure mounting of signs.
Work with different types of materials (vinyl, metal, acrylic, etc.) and tools.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders to ensure accurate installation.
Perform maintenance and repairs on existing signage as needed.
Communicate with clients and team members to ensure job requirements and timelines are met.
Follow safety protocols and work in compliance with safety standards.
Transport and handle signage equipment to and from job sites.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in sign installation or a related field preferred.
CDL license with a clean driving record preferred for transport duties (CDL Drivers will receive $35/hour).
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or plans.
Basic knowledge of electrical work (for illuminated signs) is a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (CDL drivers preferred).
Ability to lift heavy materials and work at heights (ladder and aerial lift).
Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
Willingness to travel to various job sites, sometimes on short notice.
Pay:
$35/hour for CDL drivers.
Competitive hourly wage based on experience for non-CDL candidates.
