Job Description

The Amazon Global Shipper Experience team is growing rapidly and seeking a highly skilled and motivated Account Specialist to improve the shipper experience for vendors and sellers who ship with Amazon Inbound Transportation.

As Amazon continues to drive innovation within transportation and logistics, we consistently evaluate our current network shipper defects and drive improvements through shipper coaching and performance management. In this role, the candidate will work directly with shippers to create solutions, and take action to improve shipper performance metrics.

We focus on learning, innovating , and are customer-focused, with a direct line of engagement with our vendors. We are looking for candidates with a strong passion for ownership and accountability, to manage shipper performance and best practice adoption and control implementation across a range of stakeholders, teams, partners and services. As regular and ongoing communications with vendors to resolve issues and assist them in remaining in compliance with Amazon standards, the ideal Account Specialist will be able to communicate at a high level. We are building and innovating at a fast pace in AIT, and we need people who are passionate about reinventing the transportation shipper experience.

Key job responsibilities

- Monitor, verify, and present data daily

- Overcome transportation disruptions and other barriers in real time

- Identify transportation defect root causes

- Maintain Daily logs on assigned shippers

- Lead weekly calls with assigned shippers

- Lead daily business review stand up calls

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 1+ years of working with computers and Microsoft Office (including Outlook, Word, and Excel) experience

- High school or equivalent diploma

- Work 40 hours/week, and overtime as required

- Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays

- Are 18 years of age or older

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree

- Knowledge of SQL

- Bachelor's degree, or experience working for Amazon or any Amazon subsidiary or affiliate

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $40,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $66,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
