You will play a hands-on role in the design and implementation of the next generation of perception software for our mobile robots. We have the excitement and ambition of a startup with the benefits and resources of a proven organization.What you’ll doCollaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand technical and business requirements.Design, develop, and maintain high-quality robotics applications for internal users and external customers.Develop and integrate solutions across various modules, including web-based dashboards, database, and robotics control.Create, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans; identify and fix bugs while ensuring the integrity of the existing codebase.Contribute to system-level software design, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.Formulate, document, and maintain detailed requirements specifications.Analyze requirements and develop innovative solutions or effective workarounds to meet project needs.Identify potential project risks and proactively suggest and implement mitigation strategies.Up to 10% travel may be required.What you’ll needBachelor or master’s degree in Robotics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.Minimum 8 years of professional software development experience with Python and/or C++.Experience in database development using Kafka and Snowflake.Experience in messaging systems such as RabbitMQ and/or ZeroMQ.Hands-on experience with ROS, Docker and Linux environments.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Familiarity with robotics remote operation and control applications is a big plus.Experience in developing web-based applications.Experience with project management and collaboration tools like JIRA, Confluence.Exposure to agile development practices and CI/CD pipelines.Familiarity with graphical user interfaces (GUI) development.Knowledge of computer vision applications and libraries.Our EnvironmentUp to 10% of travel may be required.
