About the Role:

Were on the hunt for a dynamic Senior Electrical Engineer to join the hive on behalf of our client. In this role, you'll provide engineering design and project management on various electrical engineering projects. If you're passionate about electrical engineering and have strong design and project management experience, we want to meet you!

Your Mission:

  • Provide engineering design on electrical engineering projects.
  • Manage and assist with all phases of electrical engineering projects including design development, preparation of presentation drawings and specifications, reports, design review, and coordination of construction drawings.
  • Coordinate with the design team to incorporate design intent into construction documentation and specifications.
  • Work with the design team and project managers during construction to address questions, provide clarifications, visit sites, solve issues, and review submittals and shop drawings.
  • Meet with clients, regulators, and agencies to develop strong professional relationships.
  • Maintain project document files, including meeting notes, financial information, client correspondence, and project schedule.
  • Ensure accuracy of technical documents through Quality Assurance reviews at different project phases.
  • Participate in planning, cost development and management, and scheduling for assigned projects.
  • Engage in marketing and business development activities, including developing project proposals and providing technical expertise.

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited four-year college or university.
  • Registered Engineer: licensure in the state of Tennessee is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to obtain professional engineering registration in several states.
  • Minimum of ten (10) to fifteen (15) years' experience as an electrical engineer.
  • Project Management experience on design/build projects.
  • Demonstrated experience using Revit Structure and AutoCAD.
  • Knowledge of electrical engineering principles, practices, and techniques.
  • Complete understanding of integrated Construction Documents.
  • Demonstrated technical writing ability.
  • LEED Accreditation is a plus.
  • Ability to use technology to collaborate with team members in different locations.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Professional and comfortable interpersonal interaction.
  • Proven team mentality and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook.
