Job Description

Responsibilities

• Assist with reviewing the work of other staff members while working on more complex accounting and tax engagements
• Individual and business tax return preparation and review
• Periodic and year-end accounting services for a variety of business clients
• Payroll, sales, and other miscellaneous tax services
• Maintain a close relationship with clients and promote the firm's mission of being a trusted business advisor

• 5-6 years of previous experience in public accounting
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
• Experience with individual and business income tax return preparation and detail review
• Experience with general ledger analysis, account reconciliations, and preparation of periodic/closing journal entries
• Solid understanding of payroll taxes, including special situations
• Proficiency in QuickBooks accounting software, CCH Axcess or similar tax software, and MS Excel
• An outgoing personality, and a "will do" attitude
