If so, this Senior Accountant role with a rapidly expanding healthcare organization—backed by private equity and operating over 40 locations across four states might be the perfect opportunity. You’ll join a small, close-knit accounting department consisting of a CFO, Controller, Senior Accountant, and AP team, with additional collaboration across revenue cycle management. This company began as a single local practice over a decade ago and has since evolved into a leading provider in its specialty, with continued plans for expansion throughout the Southeast. What You’ll Do Take ownership of the monthly close process, including preparing and posting journal entries Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations with precision Assist with financial reporting and annual audit preparation Support accounts payable activities and maintain accurate, timely records Partner cross-functionally with finance leadership to ensure accurate reporting and continuous process improvement Use advanced Excel skills to build and analyze complex models, formulas, and reports What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance 3–5 years of general ledger accounting experience Strong proficiency in Excel (beyond pivot tables—must be comfortable with advanced formulas and data analysis) Experience with Sage or similar ERP system preferred Detail-oriented, reliable, and eager to contribute in a fast-paced, high-growth environment Benefits 12 days PTO to start, plus 8 paid holidays 401(k) with 4% company match Comprehensive health coverage (Cigna), with 75% of premiums paid for employees and dependents Strong culture of growth, collaboration, and accountability Four days onsite, one day remote If you’re ready to bring your accounting expertise to a high-impact, growth-oriented company where your work truly matters—we’d love to hear from you for this Senior Accountant role.
