Amber Michelle Salon in Lakeside DFW is looking for a Stylist Assistant to train to become the next Master Stylist to join our work family.

Requirements-

• High School diploma or equivalent and valid Texas cosmetology license.
• Ability to perform basic computer skills.
• Flexibility to work weekends and evenings.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Great attention to detail and accuracy.
• Must exhibit a professional, neat, and clean appearance.
• Strengths in multi-tasking and prioritizing.
• Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
• Responsibilities (include, but not limited to)-
• Maintain cleanliness in appliance with TDLR regulations and standards in the entire salon at all times.

• Assist the hair stylists with duties and services as instructed and within your limitations.
• Develop and maintain a consistent relationship with client base in order to ensure return clients.
• Have a positive, respectful and friendly disposition with all clients and co-workers to sustain a pleasant work environment.
• Provide services to clients such as shampooing, styling and other services as client desires as instructed by hair stylists.
• Emphasize and explain product benefits and assist clients in the selection of retail products and/or services for his/her hair care needs..
• Attend and participate in continuing education and training in order to follow new trends and techniques.

MUST be reliable and on time to work everyday. Tuesday through Friday arrive no later than 9:50 a.m. and be prepared to stay until 7:15 p.m. if needed. Saturdays arrive no later than 8:50 a.m. and be prepared to stay until 6:15 p.m. if needed.
