**Sales Engineer - Voice Systems Specialist**
**Location:** Remote - US-Based (Central Region Preferred - Midwest Region Ideal - Some Travel Required)
**Duration:** 6 Months+ Contract to Hire
**Hourly Rate:** Approx. $50-55 per Hour W2
**Annual Salary upon Conversion:** Around $100k-105k Yearly

**General Purpose/Job Summary**
We are seeking a dynamic Sales Engineer with a strong background in Voice Systems, specifically experienced with Mitel products, to join our team. In this role, you will be a key player in supporting our sales process by offering technical expertise, crafting innovative solutions, and delivering precise quotes through our CPQ system. Your deep understanding of Mitel Voice Systems will be essential in translating client business needs into effective, tailored solutions. This position involves working closely with our sales teams, clients, and internal technical resources to ensure the highest quality of service delivery.
**Essential Functions/Responsibilities**
**Technical Pre-Sales Support**
- Collaborate with sales teams and clients to grasp their business requirements and design customized solutions.
- Deliver engaging product demonstrations and informative presentations.
- Provide comprehensive technical specifications and architectural designs.
**Quotation and CPQ System Management**
- Utilize CPQ systems to generate timely and accurate quotes for solutions.
- Ensure quotes align with customer needs and business goals.
- Manage and update pricing and configurations within the CPQ system.
**Solution Design and Implementation Support**
- Design and propose solutions that are technically feasible and meet client needs.
- Offer guidance during the implementation process and resolve technical issues.
- Assist with software and hardware configuration and optimization.
**Client Relationship Management**
- Build and nurture client relationships as a trusted advisor on solutions.
- Provide proactive technical guidance to enhance voice networks.
- Conduct assessments and offer strategic recommendations.
**Knowledge Sharing and Mentorship**
- Develop and maintain documentation, troubleshooting guides, and knowledge base articles.
- Mentor support teams to enhance their skills and knowledge.
**Continuous Improvement**
- Stay updated on product advancements and industry best practices.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance service delivery.
- Participate in on-call rotations to ensure high service availability.
**Competencies/Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**
- Extensive knowledge and experience with Mitel UCC products.
- Proficiency in using CPQ systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts.
- Customer-focused with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong mentoring and leadership abilities.
**Required Education, Training, and Experience**
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of experience with Mitel products, including installation and support.
- Proven experience in pre-sales engineering and using CPQ systems.
**Optional Education, Training, and Experience**
- Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field.
- Relevant industry certifications in areas such as routing, switching, network security, virtualization, or MS Teams.
