• Schedule: M-F 40 hours/week (no nights, weekends or holidays)
• Hospital: Joshua Max Simon Primary Care Center
• Location: 8414 Naab Rd, Indianapolis IN

This RN role in the clinic will be doing Triage Nursing and cover all of the clinics.

Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization.

Responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
• Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.

Requirements

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.

Additional Preferences

Strongly prefer recent experience of at least 2 years working with OB/GYN patient populations and enjoy providing care for them and families.

Proficient with using EMR.

Previous experience with telephonic triage and professional telephonic customer service skills.

Excellent assessment skills with critical thinking and judgement skills are needed in this role.
