Job Title: Research Nurse

Duration: 3 Months

Shift: Rotational Shifts

Hours/week: 40 Hours/week

Max Pay Rate : 45.00/Hour (With Benefits)


Max Pay Rate : 47.00/Hour (Without Benefits)

Position Summary:

• Provide independent nursing support for clinical research protocols and patient care.
• Assist with patient recruitment, assessment, data collection, and regulatory compliance in support of clinical studies.

Job Description:

• Recruit, screen, and enroll patients for research studies.
• Evaluate patient eligibility and support retention and follow-up.
• Educate patients and families on disease, treatments, and study protocols.
• Perform physical assessments, collect medical histories, and conduct diagnostic tests.
• Monitor patient conditions and recommend treatment adjustments per protocol guidelines.
• Maintain accurate patient records and regulatory documentation.
• Administer informed consent and ensure compliance with human subjects protection.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on care and research plans.
• Participate in meetings, training, and quality assurance activities.
• Coordinate patient scheduling and logistics.
• Mentor new staff and contribute to protocol development.

Required Skills:

• Associate's degree in Nursing required; Master's preferred.
• Minimum 2 years nursing experience with CPR certification.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure.
• Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Experience with clinical research protocols and Med-Surg nursing preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite.

Deliverables:

• Patient recruitment and retention documentation.
• Educational materials and clinical data documentation.
• Regulatory submissions and protocol compliance reports.
• Maintenance of patient databases and research files.

Additional Duties:

• Equipment cleaning and validation.
• Assist with grant reporting and manuscript preparation.
• Provide patient counseling and respond to inquiries.
• Collaborate with clinical and research staff.
