Strong Warehouse Receiving 1 Year Experience Is a Must!

The right candidate will possess strong receiving experience with good knowledge of warehouse receiving operations. Forklift experience is a plus. Computer skills is a must. Working with a tablet program. Must be able to wear many hats. Loading and Unloading.

Title: Receiving Clerk / / Material Gauger

Skill Set: Light Computer and Inventory Exp. Loading and Unloading
Compensation: $17.00 - $18.00 Hourly
Location: Bronx, NY
Experience: 1 Years

Schedule : 6:30 Am to 4:00 PM (40 hours a week with potential OT)

OVERVIEW:

Receiving clerk who will work out by the docks with a computer tablet checking in the loads, gaging, doing outbound load paperwork, taking inventory, loading and unloading.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Will be trained and certified but must be able to pass motorized equipment certification within 3 months of starting work on dock
• Knowledge of working on tablets
• Must have PC computer knowledge
• Machinery experience is a PLUS not a must (i.e. forklift; cherry picker; Hi-lo's, etc.)
• Must be able to work some weekends, early morning hours (start times vary by department)
• Able to work 8-12 hrs. shift (hours per day are based on business need)
• Able to work while standing for long periods of time
• Able to lift and maneuver a minimum of 50 lbs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Process all outbound shipments quickly and accurately using computers, RF Scanning Guns with be trained, and learn to motorized equipment to complete all required transactions
• Sort, locate and label packages, load packaging machines
• Assist in shut down procedures and special requirements

Receives in all trucks

• Entering all loads into Nexus
• Scans all shipping documents into Nexus
• Destroying all loads in Nexus
• Makes Shipping docs for outbound shipments.
• Prints Pallet Labels
• Print daily schedule
• Getting release numbers for OCC and Glass loads
• Orders most supplies, Gloves, kitchen and other.
• Daily commodity and pallet inventory.
• schedules Check pallets pickups based on inventory.
• Sends weekly temp hours
• Loading and Unloading
