QC Analytical Chemist | Temp Assignment | Totowa, NJ

Eastridge Workforce Solutions is seeking a QC Analytical Chemist for a 4-month temporary contract in Totowa, NJ . This is a great opportunity to contribute your scientific expertise to quality control in a regulated laboratory environment supporting OTC and cosmetic product testing.

Location: Totowa, NJ

Pay: $27.00 – $30.00/hour

Shifts Available: 1st Shift – Monday to Friday

Employment Type: Temporary (4 months)

What You’ll Do:

• Perform analytical testing on raw materials, bulk, stability, and finished goods
• Use analytical instrumentation: HPLC, GC, ICP-OES, UV-VIS, Karl Fischer , and others
• Follow compendial methods (USP/NF, ASTM, ISO) and FDA 21 CFR 210 & 211 compliance
• Calibrate instruments and verify system suitability per approved SOPs
• Record data accurately with full compliance to Data Integrity standards
• Collaborate with analysts and supervisors to resolve OOS/OOT results and investigations
• Review instrument logbooks, calculations, and support NCR and CAPA processes
• Assist with chemical hygiene programs and laboratory inventory control
• Support internal audits for quality and environmental health and safety

What We’re Looking For:

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related scientific field
• 1+ years of QC laboratory experience in a pharmaceutical or cosmetic environment
• Experience with analytical equipment and GMP/GLP required

Skills & Abilities

• Strong problem-solving, documentation, and organizational skills
• Comfortable with Root Cause Analysis, CAPA, and regulated lab protocols
• Able to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced lab setting
• Good interpersonal communication and a collaborative mindset
