Akkodis is seeking a QA Automation Tester for a Contract job with a client in Sunrise, FL. The ideal candidate will be a proficient automation engineer with strong expertise in Selenium and Java, capable of building robust test frameworks and executing automated test scripts for web applications and APIs.Rate Range: $37/hour to $49/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.QA Automation Tester job responsibilities include:Develop and execute automated test scripts using Selenium, Cucumber, Postman, and Java frameworks.Implement QA frameworks and strategies, including API automation and CI/CD integration with Jenkins.Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile methodologies and tools like Jira and Rally.Create comprehensive test plans, conduct test case reviews, and perform regression testing.Ensure alignment of testing strategies with credit card servicing processes and organizational standards.Identify and resolve software defects to ensure high-quality, timely delivery of solutions.Desired Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.5+ years of experience in automation testing with Selenium and Java.Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, Git, Maven.Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and QA best practices.Experience in financial services or credit card servicing is a plus.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
