Roles & Responsibility

• Maintain accurate material data
• Manage material receipt and release data
• Check material usage by production everyday
• Maintaining documentation and keeping accurate records of warehouse inventory
• Material Shipment Arrangement
• Compare daily/weekly/monthly production projection and actual production data
• Communicate with suppliers and forwarder to take control of material shipments
• Keep the record of in-transit material
• Arrange the delivery schedule
• Maintain optimum level of inventory
• Calculate the optimum level of material need to be purchased
• Create purchase request and issue PO in timely manner by ERP and Groupware
• Quality Management
• Evaluate performance of suppliers
• Submit claims to suppliers when QM issued NC report or quality concern
• Request incoming QC to perform the test when products are received
• Payment arrangement for material and freight
• Compare service quality and rates by each forwarder every month
• Confirm the details of freight invoices
• Submit invoices to AP when payment request is approved

Education

Bachelor’s degree in related fields.

Knowledge & Skill

• Purchasing experiences in the production fields is a bonus
• Proficient knowledge of inventory control
• 1-3 years purchasing experience is recommended
• Outstanding communication skills plus
• English and Korean bilingual preferred
