Job Title: Public Health Educator (Part-Time)
Location: Cheverly, MD

Responsibilities:

• Perform disease and animal exposure investigations according to established protocols.
• Document all cases and submit to supervisor for review.
• Adhere to local, state, and federal guidelines related to disease control and public health.
• Utilize computer systems proficiently (e.g., Microsoft Office, Internet).
• Attend all assigned trainings, seminars, and conferences.
• Contribute as a member of a multidisciplinary disease control team.
• Demonstrate flexibility and the ability to travel between sites as required.

Qualifications:

• Experience in disease investigation within a public health setting.
• Prior federal, state, or local government experience is preferred.
• No specific certifications required.
