Job Description:
As a Physical Therapist at our pediatric clinic, you will play a vital role in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating infants, children, and adolescents with various physical impairments, injuries, or developmental delays. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team, including physicians, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and other healthcare professionals, to develop and implement effective treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to identify physical limitations, impairments, or delays in children and adolescents.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evaluation findings, incorporating evidence-based interventions, therapeutic exercises, and modalities.
Provide direct physical therapy services to patients, including therapeutic exercises, balance training, coordination activities, and functional mobility training.
Educate patients, families, and caregivers on home exercise programs, activity modifications, and strategies to optimize physical function and independence.
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care and integrated treatment approaches for optimal patient outcomes.
Document patient progress, treatment interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely in accordance with clinic policies and regulatory requirements.
Participate in team meetings, case discussions, and professional development activities to enhance clinical knowledge and skills.
Requirements:
Physical Therapy degree from an accredited program.
Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist in Texas.
Pediatric clinical experience or a strong interest in pediatrics.
Knowledge of pediatric physical therapy assessment tools, treatment techniques, and evidence-based practice.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with patients, families, and a multidisciplinary team.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess patient needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate and organized patient records.
Dedication to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.
Pediatric Clinic Range: $55-$60 per hour(commensurate with experience)

Job Description:
As a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) at our pediatric clinic, you will work closely with our team of healthcare professionals to assist in evaluating, planning, and implementing comprehensive physical therapy programs for children and adolescents. You will provide direct care and support to patients under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist. Additionally, you will collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to optimize treatment outcomes.
This is a part-time opportunity starting out with availability between 2:00pm-7:00pm. Option to ramp up to full time hours as patient census allows is available.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in evaluating patients' physical abilities and limitations through observation, assessment, and standardized tests under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
Contribute to the development of individualized treatment plans and goals in collaboration with the physical therapist and other team members.
Implement therapeutic exercises, activities, and interventions to improve strength, coordination, balance, mobility, and functional abilities in pediatric patients.
Provide direct patient care, including therapeutic exercises, manual techniques, modalities, and assistive device training.
Instruct and guide patients, families, and caregivers in home exercise programs and activities to support therapy goals and promote carryover of skills outside of the clinic setting.
Monitor and document patients' progress, treatment interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely in accordance with clinic policies and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate effectively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients.
Stay updated on current research, evidence-based practices, and emerging trends in pediatric physical therapy.
Requirements:
Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in Texas.
Prior experience in pediatric physical therapy is highly desirable.
Knowledge of pediatric assessment tools, treatment techniques, and interventions.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and a multidisciplinary team.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and documentation skills.
