As a Project Evaluator at Horizon, you will...

  • Develop protocols and data collection workflows for both qualitative and quantitative analyses.
  • Evaluate the processes and methodologies used in the program to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Assess the program's results at regulatory and internally set intervals to determine compliance and progress.
  • Collaborate with program staff and other stakeholders to communicate evaluation results, provide actionable insights, and assist with implementable recommendations.
  • Work with data analysts to prepare detailed reports summarizing findings and recommendations for stakeholders.
  • Ensure the program complies with relevant regulations and standards.

What makes you a great candidate?

We can’t wait to learn more about you! Here are a few specifics of what you’ll need for the job:

  • Master's degree in public health, social sciences, statistics, or a related field required.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in program evaluation, behavioral health, or a related area required.
  • Familiarity with program management and reporting processes.
  • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Location:

This position is located at 2400 Pine Ave, Niagara Falls NY.

Hours:

Monday through Friday from 8:00am – 5:00pm.

Compensation:

Horizon is consistently evaluating our compensation and benefit packages to ensure we remain competitive. The salary pay for this position is $64,000 - $71,600. Starting pay may be impacted based on experience and education. Compensation adjustments are evaluated annually.

This position entails eligibility for a sign-on bonus of up to $1,500 for your commitment to work at our Horizon Certified Behavioral Health Clinics (CCBHC) located at our Pine Avenue Recovery Center and Lockport Recovery Centers for at least one year. A change in scheduled hours or location of employment may impact eligibility of bonus.

Physical demands associated with this position include:

  • Sitting for extended periods, alternating between standing and sitting
  • Mobility required with repetitive wrist, hand, and finger movements
  • Handling light duties, occasionally lifting objects up to 20 pounds
  • Local travel between worksites
  • Exposure to various environmental conditions including low/high temperatures, outdoor elements
