Korzen Health is working with one of the largest healthcare systems in the area. This position is for weekend coverage.

We are currently hiring a PMHNP or PA for a correctional facility. Provider will be traveling between Camden, SC and Lancaster, SC.

Job details:

• Work within a 12 bed female prison unit.
  
• Medical management of patients within unit - and possible C/L work outside of unit
• M-F 5 days/week schedule

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations to assess clients mental health status, medication needs, and treatment goals.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including therapists, social workers, and medical staff to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Prescribe and manage medication for clients, with a focus on minimizing side effects and monitoring for drug interactions.
• Provide medication education to clients and family members to ensure proper compliance and understanding.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss client progress, treatment adjustments, and ongoing care.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records in accordance with state and federal regulations.
• Stay up-to-date on best practices, new research, and medications related to psychiatric and behavioral health care.
