Join to apply for the Penetration Tester role at Gunnison . Duties and Responsibilities Design and implement a penetration testing strategy aligned with government security frameworks. Conduct in-depth penetration tests across web applications, networks, and infrastructure. Identify, analyze, and report on vulnerabilities with a focus on identifying the highest impact remediation actions. Collaborate with software development teams to integrate security testing into the SDLC. Ensure all plans of action and schedules as well as validation activities are tracked and assigned, and remediations are validated and documented. Produce meticulous documentation of all testing procedures, findings, and remediation strategies. Requirements 5+ years of hands-on experience in penetration testing. Industry-recognized cybersecurity certifications (e.g., OSCP, CEH, GPEN, CISSP, CISM). Familiarity with FISMA standards and NIST security guidelines. Proficiency with penetration testing tools (Kali Linux, Burp Suite, Metasploit). Experience working with government-specific security tools or technologies. Experience with Nessus or similar vulnerability scanners. Experience as a Linux, Windows or Database administrator, specifically with patching systems or configuring/hardening systems Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or related field OR equivalent experience. Clearance Requirement: Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust. The salary range for this position depends upon multiple factors including location, the individual\'s knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, and contract-specific budget constraints and organizational requirements.
