Title: Oracle EBS /RDBMS DBA

Duration: Long term

Location: Eagan , MN/Raleigh NC / San Mateo /CA or Memphis ,TN

Job Description:

• Proven experience in managing Oracle RDBMS, Oracle eBusiness Suite, and/or NoSQL databases.
• Strong understanding of database design, optimization, and query writing.
• Proficiency in UNIX and Microsoft Windows operating systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Required Experience Level: Minimum of 5-7 years experience in database administration preferred
• Support implemented middle tier technologies on Windows and Linux servers, including web and application servers, containers and container management technologies, messaging technologies, cloud platform and services, automation tools, scripting languages and monitoring tools. Current technologies in use include Apache Tomcat, WildFly, Oracle Fusion Middle Tier (OFM), IBM WebSphere, Apache Kubernetes, Docker and other types of containers, IBM MQ, Kafka, Zookeeper, RedHat OpenShift, Rancher, Ansible, Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure, Linux shell scripting, Microsoft PowerShell, JYTHON, AppDynamics, Zabbix, SolarWinds, Zabbix, SolarWinds, Neustar and Splunk.
• Schedule and deploy middle tier services or middle tier components, patches or service pack releases, using Ansible, other automation tools, or manually as required.
• Build, upgrade, configure middle tier service with proper documented security settings.
• Recommends and takes action to improve processes.
• Perform any necessary testing of installing or updating software/configuration files according to the requested action following the Program Team’s approval.
• Use system management tools to monitor, mitigate, and remediate vulnerabilities.
• Provide project plans, reports, and presentations using Microsoft suite of tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, etc.)
