Large global supply chain company by JFK Airport is looking to bring on Office Coordinators for a long term contract . Ideal candidates should have an eagerness to learn a new industry in addition to having excellent computer skills, data entry skills, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities:

• Notating customer accounts with shipment/milestone information. As an example, when cargo was picked up and received, if there were any delays.
• Assigning FedEx tracking numbers to the shipments that have already been entered and coded
• Warehouse information is attached to the customer file. Data entry of the on-hand and pick ticket number
• Phone call/email follow up with clients

Qualifications:

 

• Candidate that is seeking an office job where they are motivated by learning a new industry
• Computer literate/data entry skills
• Pro-active/team player mentality – Not afraid to ask questions
• Eager to learn

Job Types: Contract, Full-time

Pay: $19.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Overtime

Experience:

 

• Customer Service: 2 years (Preferred)
