We are seeking an accomplished and results-oriented NetSuite Principal Consultant – Finance to lead and deliver advanced NetSuite ERP implementations tailored to financial operations. This role focuses on helping organizations optimize their financial processes through comprehensive NetSuite solutions, aligning system functionalities with strategic business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting, with extensive experience in NetSuite ERP implementations. You will leverage your expertise to design, configure, and deploy NetSuite Financials, ensuring seamless integration with other business processes. A proven track record of managing 6+ full-cycle NetSuite ERP implementations is essential. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Consulting & Solution Design Collaborate with finance and executive teams to assess their financial processes, identify challenges, and design tailored NetSuite solutions. Develop scalable solutions for financial management, including GL (General Ledger), AR (Accounts Receivable), AP (Accounts Payable), fixed assets, budgeting, and forecasting. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards such as GAAP, IFRS, and SOX in all NetSuite implementations. Lead end-to-end NetSuite ERP implementations, ensuring alignment with client objectives and industry best practices. Oversee all phases of the implementation lifecycle, including discovery, requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, training, and deployment. Successfully delivered 6+ full-cycle NetSuite ERP implementations, with a focus on financial modules. Manage system integrations with third-party financial applications such as banking systems, tax compliance tools, and expense management platforms. Client Engagement & Advisory Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing strategic recommendations on optimizing financial operations through NetSuite. Deliver insights on best practices for financial reporting, revenue recognition, multi-entity management, and currency consolidation. Guide clients in achieving compliance with regulatory requirements and improving audit readiness. Lead cross-functional teams, mentoring junior consultants and fostering knowledge-sharing within the organization. Work collaboratively with stakeholders across finance, operations, and IT departments to ensure successful project outcomes. Serve as the escalation point for complex financial challenges during implementations. Provide post-go-live support to address issues, optimize system performance, and identify opportunities for process improvements. Stay up-to-date with NetSuite Financials enhancements, sharing knowledge and driving innovation across client engagements. Required Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. CPA, CMA, or equivalent accounting certification is highly desirable. Experience: 8+ years of experience in ERP consulting, with at least 5+ years specializing in NetSuite ERP Financials. Proven expertise in delivering 6+ full-cycle NetSuite ERP implementations, focusing on financial modules. Strong understanding of core financial processes, including financial close, intercompany accounting, multi-entity management, and tax compliance. Technical Expertise: Proficiency in NetSuite Financials, including General Ledger, Advanced Revenue Management, Fixed Assets, and Financial Planning. Hands-on experience configuring workflows, saved searches, and dashboards within NetSuite. Familiarity with SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, and SuiteBuilder for customizations and workflow automation. Knowledge of system integration tools and middleware for connecting NetSuite with financial applications like Avalara, Expensify, or BlackLine. Soft Skills: Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage with C-level executives and finance leaders. Analytical and problem-solving mindset with a focus on delivering client value. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications: NetSuite ERP Consultant Certification or SuiteCloud Developer Certification. Experience in global financial operations, including multi-currency, multi-entity consolidation, and tax compliance. Familiarity with advanced analytics tools such as NetSuite Analytics Warehouse, Tableau, or Power BI. Exposure to Agile or Scrum project management methodologies.
