Position Summary Acuren is currently seeking Multi-cert NDT Technicians (RT/MT/PT/UTT) for a
NESTED role in Lima, OH area.
This is a fulltime embedded role with guaranteed 40 hours/week (M-F 7 AM TO 3:30 PM) Relocation assistance and up to $5000.00 Sign-On Bonus, along with 30 days per diem available to qualified candidates!
Responsibilities - Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment
- Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) using NDT methods of inspection
- Establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations
- Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results
- Interpret radiographs, cathode ray tube (CRT) or digital readouts, conductivity meters and visual indicators
- Organize and report test results
- Perform specialized inspections
- May instruct and supervise others
- Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management
Requirements - Certified Level II RT
- Level II MT, PT, UTT, and VT certifications
- Technical background in NDT methods and procedures
- Demonstrated ability to effectively perform assigned NDT tasks and interpret results of inspections
- Knowledge of NDT equipment
- Per client requirements you must pass a hair follicle going back 90-120 days, along with periodic random testing.
